Week 9
June 2, 2017
In lab, we reviewed our final report draft. There were many professor and TA comments on it, so we will need to make some major revisions before the due date of the actual draft on Thursday night. We also started working on our final presentation in Google Slides.
Our main focus for this lab today was figuring out the data that a team member collected in Dr. Cheng's lab (props to him). Using Excel, we plotted the data gathered from the spectrometer and formulated an equation.
Samples of alchite and normal alginate fibers

Collection of all alchite and regular alginate fibers
at different periods of time (15 mins, 1 hr, 2 hrs,
4 hrs, 8 hrs, and 24 hrs)
There is one more week until we present our results in front of an audience, so we are clearly anxious. Two of our group members will also be having interviews for co-op, so time for preparation has been cut a bit short.
